Karolina was born in Poland in 1972 and educated in Poland & Denmark.

Karolina‘s interest in photography began at the age of 11 when she found her parents’ old camera in their basement. Through experimentation she taught herself how to take pictures, judge exposure and make prints. Although her first job was at a photo studio, Karolina didn’t study photography but instead she studied music and performance art. 

Today she works as a professional photographer and tries to incorporate all of her musical experience and knowledge within Performance Design into her photographic works. Karolina is often told that because of her musical intuition, she can almost hear the musical moment, which she captures in her photography. She is currently based in Copenhagen, where she works as a portrait photographer.
